PURPOSE AND SCOPE ============================================================ Easy Screen is a remote control and screen sharing software that allows a user, referred to as the "Viewer", to connect to a remote computer, referred to as the "Sender", via an Easy Screen server. The software can operate in two distinct modes: - TCP Local mode (local network, LAN, without Internet access) - Web mode (via a server accessible over the Internet) Both modes rely on an autonomous architecture and do not require any external third-party services imposed by the publisher. Any use of the software implies acceptance of these terms. ============================================================ 3. INSTALLATION CONDITIONS AND COMPATIBILITY ============================================================ Easy Screen operates exclusively on the following systems: - Windows 8, 8.1, 10, 11 and later compatible versions The software requires: - Installation of the .NET Runtime 8.0 provided by Microsoft Easy Screen uses the open-source "Interception" driver for keyboard control management. - This driver is provided free of charge - Easy Screen is neither affiliated with nor responsible for its development - No support is provided for malfunctions related to this driver ============================================================ 4. EASY SCREEN SERVER OPERATING MODES ============================================================ 4.1 TCP Local Mode - Operates exclusively within a local network (LAN) - Does not require an Internet connection - Compatible with standard Easy Screen licenses - Not compatible with the Sender Host mode 4.2 Easy Screen Web Mode The Easy Screen server in Web mode is intended to be manually installed by the customer on: - A VPS server - Or a dedicated server This mode allows the customer company to: - Manage its own security - Operate autonomously - Maintain full control over all connections and data flows The Easy Screen Web server is provided with: - A BATCH supervision script allowing automatic restart of the service in case of a crash ============================================================ 5. SECURITY, SSL AND LIABILITY (WEB MODE) ============================================================ 5.1 Secure Web Mode (recommended) For use in compliance with security and data protection requirements: - The Easy Screen server must be equipped with a valid SSL/TLS certificate - TCP port 443 must be open - Communications are then encrypted and GDPR-compliant 5.2 Non-secure Web Mode (HTTP – port 80) An unencrypted Web mode (HTTP – port 80) may be used: - Exclusively for testing, installation, or technical validation purposes This mode is strongly discouraged for production use. Liability: The publisher of Easy Screen shall not be held liable for: - Voluntary use of the non-secure mode - Improper server configuration - Data exposure resulting from technical choices made by the user In accordance with European data protection regulations, the user or the company operating the server remains the data controller, particularly in the event of non-compliance with security best practices. ============================================================ 6. LICENSES AND TERMS OF SALE ============================================================ 6.1 Easy Screen Standard License A free trial version is available: - Limited to 30 minutes per session - Limited to 3 uses per day Paid licenses: - Allow unlimited use for the purchased duration - Are valid for both TCP Local mode and Web mode - Prices are available on https://easy-screen.fr Annual discounts may be granted upon request: - To associations 6.2 Payment and delivery - Payment by credit card via the official website - No banking data is stored - The license key (license.key) is generated after payment and made available for download - No automatic renewal is applied 6.3 Right of withdrawal The Easy Screen software is provided as digital content and can be used autonomously without an Internet connection. In accordance with the regulations applicable to digital content, no refund may be granted after the purchase of a license once it is considered as supplied. A limited free version is provided to allow testing of the software before purchasing a license. ============================================================ 7. SPECIFIC "SENDER HOST" LICENSE ============================================================ Easy Screen offers a specific license called the "Sender Host License". This license allows: - Automatic and permanent connection of one or more Sender systems to an Easy Screen server in Web mode - Access protection via a secure password - Remote access to the computer at any time without human intervention Characteristics: - License file: license_host.key - License valid for the entire purchased duration - License may be duplicated an unlimited number of times for any number of Sender Hosts - One-time payment regardless of the number of Sender Hosts Technical limitations: - One Easy Screen Web server supports approximately 50 simultaneous connections - Beyond this limit, the company must deploy: > One or more additional Easy Screen servers > On separate VPS or dedicated servers > Hosting and infrastructure costs remain the responsibility of the customer The Sender Host mode: - Works exclusively with the Easy Screen Web server - Is not compatible with the TCP Local mode ============================================================ 8. USE AND RESPONSIBILITIES ============================================================ Any remote control session requires: - Explicit consent from the user of the remote computer - Or a voluntary configuration via the Sender Host mode Any use: - For illegal purposes - For non-consensual monitoring - For data misuse is the sole responsibility of the user. Easy Screen does not perform: - Any session recording - Any storage of screens, keystrokes, or mouse movements ============================================================ 9. PERSONAL DATA AND GDPR ============================================================ The following data may be processed temporarily: - IP address - Unique identifier - User or company name - Encryption keys - Language settings - Technical session data This data: - Is never stored on the Internet - Is retained exclusively in volatile memory - Is automatically deleted when the software is closed Easy Screen acts solely as a technical tool. The data controller is the user or the company operating the server. ============================================================ 10. SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE ============================================================ Support covers: - Malfunctions related to the Easy Screen software Support does not cover: - Server configuration errors - Internal network issues - Third-party components - Security issues resulting from lack of SSL encryption ============================================================ 11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ============================================================ Easy Screen, its source code, interfaces, encryption mechanisms, and certificates are protected by intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, modification, decompilation, or distribution without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited. ============================================================ 12. LIMITATION OF WARRANTY ============================================================ Easy Screen is provided "as is". No warranty is given regarding continuous availability or suitability for a particular purpose. ============================================================ 13. APPLICABLE LAW ============================================================ These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the Normandy region, unless mandatory legal provisions provide otherwise.
